Week 21 – Christmas and New Years (and Josh’s birthday!)

Well I haven’t updated in a very long time… Not much has happened I guess!

My new comp (it’s been three weeks woops) Is Elder Kemp, a tall skinny gringo from Utah. He’s really cool, has 15 months in the mission, but isn’t the greatest at Spanish. Yet, he’s teaching me a lot and we’re working hard in the sector of CUUUURANILAHUE 2.
For Christmas eve, we went to a member’s house and had a big dinner there, and then we went home at midnight and slept. For Christmas, we didn’t really do anything. We were able to skype with our families, so we spent 40 minutes on skype with them which was aweeeeeesome.
For New Years eve, we went to another member’s house, had a huuuuge dinner with them and her family, and went home at 11. We stayed up and watched the fireworks, which weren’t that big but still great! The next day, we played baby futbal in the morning, then a member picked us up to go to his house in the country, so we spent some time in the countryside. It was suuper relaxing. Got home at 8 and just relaxed for the rest of the day.
It’s weird to think I’m 20 years old now! My first and only full year in my mission started.
I don’t have much else to say, nor do I have much time!

Hope you are doing well,
Love,
Elder Lee
